Building the platform I wished existed
Dr. Ali Heidari is a physician and surgical educator currently preparing for the MRCS Part B examination. With a background spanning clinical medicine, surgical training and medical education, he brings a unique perspective to how surgical knowledge should be taught and learned.
SurgAtlas was born from a simple frustration — the absence of a visually-driven, freely accessible surgical study platform that treated learners as intelligent adults. Most resources were either paywalled, poorly designed, or reduced complex surgical concepts to bullet-point lists stripped of their clinical context.
